REMOTE CAUSES OF DIVORCE AND SOLUTIONS (Eph. 5:31, Gen. 2:22-25, Mk. 10:6-9, Mal. 2:16)

#Introduction: Divorce (or dissolution of marriage): According to Oxford Advance Learners Dictionary, it means "Legal ending of a marriage so that husband and wife are free or to put an end to marriage by Law." God, the author of marriage divinely ordained that the two shall joined together to be one (Gen. 2:24). "Therefore shall a man leaves his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
#Below are few actions that may lead to divorce or dissolution of marriage and solution or way out:
1. Failure to "leave and cleave" - Eph. 5:31, 28:30, Mk. 10:6-9
2. Giving the devil a place - Eph. 4:27, I Pet. 5:7-9, Gen. 3:1-6
3. Criticism and Lack of Forgiveness - John 17:20-23, Mk. 3:24-25
4. Lack of Love and Affection - Eph. 5:26, Tit.2:4
5. Worldliness and Extravagance - Rm. 12:1, 2, I Jh. 2:15-17
6. Childlessness - Gen. 25:20-22. Mark 9:23
7. Money, Business and Spending - Phil. 4:19, Luke. 16:10-12
#We can overcome the challenges of life and problems in our marriage through the following ways:
1. Constant prayer and intercession over simple problem that can skyrocket
2. Constant and consistent study of the word of God. To detect God's plan for our marriage
3. Considering from other men and women of God (faith) around us
4. Sharer your problems together and remember always that you are one fresh and not to separate.
